In the floral industry, a “ wire service ” or “OG” (order-gatherer) is a company such as FTD, Teleflora, 1-800-FLOWERS, Ava’s Flowers, BloomNet, etc. Any florist in the community where you want to send flowers will happily take your direct order over the phone.
